One of several projects completed at the Wentzville Assembly Center, this renovation and expansion of the existing body shop utilized an integrated project delivery approach, bringing together contractor, architect and key trade partners into a single entity for maximum efficiency.
As a result of the project, nearly 200,000 SF of new bay areas were created to support production of a future product line, including material storage space, CMA process utility space and a paint shop. In addition to physical construction, this also included the installation and commissioning of new machines, conveyors, controls and tooling. The existing body shop was also relocated.
